Safeguarding
Our congregation is committed to Ensuring a Safe Church for All, in line with the policies and practice of the Church of Scotland. We seek to provide a safe, caring, and welcoming environment for everyone, with particular care for children and adults at risk.
Safeguarding is about preventing harm, recognising concerns, and responding appropriately. We follow Church of Scotland safeguarding policy, Scottish law, and use safe recruitment practices, including the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme where required.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. If you have a concern about someone’s wellbeing, please act promptly. In an emergency, contact Police Scotland.
